Registration

  • (If you have registered under another registration listed here, you do not need to register for this. This is only for Officials that are ONLY coming to the mandatory session.

Please check carefully that you have registered for the appropriate session: member/non-member, Sunday only, full registration, Mon-Tues only, before or after October 1, retired, student, student DONATION, or mandatory Supreme Court. If you have registered for another session, you do NOT have to also sign up for the mandatory. It will be included.

MAKING RESERVATIONS FOR THE HOTEL

You may book online at  https://www.hyatt.com/en-US/group-booking/WICRW/G-KCRA You may also book by calling the Group Reservations line 800-233-1234.  

The room block will be held through September 27, 2019.  Any reservation made after this date will be accepted based upon availability.   

 

Group Room Rates (first come/first serve): 

Double Queen Standard:  $121.00 per night

King standard: $121.00 per night

The Guest Room Rates are quoted exclusive of any applicable taxes (which are currently 16.25%), applicable service fees, and/or hotel-specific fees in effect at the time of the event.

CANCELLATIONS:  Accepted 48 hours prior to arrival without charge.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

Check-in time for the Hyatt Regency Wichita is 3:00 PM. Room assignments prior to that time are based on availability.  Each guest will be required to supply a deposit (currently $30.00) per night of stay upon check-in to be applied to any incidental charges. (Cash or credit cards accepted). Deposit will be returned to account between 7-10 business days after check-out, depending on the banking institution. Upon check-in, all guests will be asked to confirm his/her check-out date. Departures that occur before the scheduled departure date are subject to an early departure fee (currently a full night’s room and tax).

Check-out time is 11:00 AM. For your convenience, Video Checkout and Voice Mail checkout are available in all guest rooms.

PARKING

The hotel, as a special consideration to the group, will provide complimentary self-parking for overnight guests of the group.

Discounted self-parking in the parking garage at $5 per day per vehicle for daily drive-in attendees.

The tax deductibility of membership dues and convention registration fees paid to KCRA as an ordinary business expense is subject to restrictions imposed by the IRS.  The nondeductible ordinary business expense portion of your 2019-2020 membership dues and 2019 convention registration fees is 10%.  KCRA dues are not deductible as a charitable contribution.

KCRA welcomes additional legislative contributions to support candidates and legislative initiatives that support you.  Additional contributions are voluntary and do not affect membership rights.  Additional contributions designated as "Legislative Contribution" are nondeductible.

**No refunds on registration after October 11, 2019.
